Being Positive Makes Magic Happen!

Mentalism is a branch of magic dealing with the mind, a menatalist will perform amazing miracles on stage such as revealing a persons date of birth or a word they are thinking of or predicting a set of impossible actions a number of audience members perform at random.

How do I know this? Because I have studied magic and the art of mentalism since the age of 8. However, Some of the greatest mind readers in the world have not studied magic or any form of trickery, they just read things about people.

Some call it intuition, some body language, others rapport or instinct but the ability to read people is something that we all do naturally.

While some people are better at reading people than others it is a skill that we all have as human beings. So, bearing all this in mind, would an average person be able to tell what you are thinking by simply bumping into you in the street? Well, not necessarily what you are thinking but more how you are feeling.

Would they meet someone who makes the room go quiet as they walk into company or a person who livens a group up as they know the mood will be lifted?

Like it or not people treat us in direct relation to the energy we give off to them. Quite simply they tend to return our energy back to us.

To put it bluntly carrying negative thoughts and attitude will bring you more of the same, carrying positive thoughts and attitude will bring you more of that too. I know it sounds simple, that's because it is! The most exciting part about all of this is that you have a choice!

Positivity attracts success, people and good things and negativity repels them. In other articles I have covered the importance of focussing on the positive when setting goals and this is the reason why.

For instance, instead of writing “I will stop making the same mistakes in relationships” rephrasing it to the positive helps immeasurably; “I am continuing to handle my relationships in a positive and responsible manner”

Not only does a positive attitude improve your goal setting it also releases chemicals in the brain which improve your general health and boost your immune system and reduce levels of stress in the body.

It is also crucial that you spread that positivity and do not put others down to make yourself feel better. In a society where recent research has shown that only 1 in 14 comments to children made by parents is positive, a positive comment genuinely aimed at someone you know can make the world of difference...
