EFT Can Help You Set And Achieve Your
Goals
Tapping To Achieve
Success!
Before we get
into what EFT is and how it can help with your personal goal
planning, setting and success I must tell you the
following:
EFT is an incredibly powerful technique but it is not a
replacement for professional advice or help, if you have an
issue which requires either then seek out the help of the
relevant professional.
What is EFT?
I was first introduced to EFT many years ago,
quite by chance and I was so overwhelmed by its powerful
simplicity I have been using it ever since in my
personal, family life and also professionally.
EFT can best be described as a reset button for
your body. I know that sounds a little weird but that is
the best, simplest description I can think of right
now.
You see, when your pc starts to play up and
slows down, or freezes up it causes all kinds of other
problems. Maybe your word processor would crash and you
would loose important work, your email program might lock
up and you may miss important communication or your
graphics card may malfunction and stop you from viewing
the screen correctly.
In all these cases my first response is to hit
the reset button and in 99% of cases it is usually a
successful solution and that is how I can best describe
EFT.
So How Does This Help With My Goal Setting
Success?
When we have negative emotions we tend to carry
these in the body and the central nervous system and, as
explained in the Practice Secrets Revealed course (The
course includes a free e-book - “EFT To Boost Your
Practice And Rid Yourself Of Negativity... Forever”)
because the human being is a psycho-somatic being the
relationship between thoughts and physical being,
internal and external are inextricably linked… each one
affects the other. In short, if we have negative emotions
holding us back we become much less effective at
achieving our goals.
EFT is also a great tool for dealing with stress
and, as is discussed in another article on this site,
stress can really affect your goal setting and
performance.
In addition to this, EFT can be used for a
myriad of different emotional issues...
While an addiction to smoking may seem like a
physical thing, the emotional issues behind it can be
treat with EFT therefore removing the craving…
Issues with confidence and the emotional baggage
that we may carry are treated with EFT and the body
instinctively has more bounce and confidence in it as the
person walks away…
One of the most telling stories about the
effectiveness of EFT that I have ever come across came
from the period that Gary Craig was putting together the
first EFT training course. He visited the Veterans
Administration in Los Angeles to help emotionally
disabled veterans of the Vietnam war where some had
suffered PTSD and sleep terrors for 20+ years.
While filming them Gary was able to successfully
treat people who had not spoken of events which went back
20 or so years and it is wonderful to see them overcome
20+ years of emotional issues in only minutes…
If EFT can achieve such powerful effects in
these extreme cases, doesn't it just seem natural to
utilise it's powerful effects to help rid yourself of
negativity and achieve success?
